The Goal

Messi lifted the FIFA World Cup for Argentina. The Cup and glory eluded him his entire life, his shelf had all trophies but the King of trophies eluded him. The final was nerve wracking, almost unwatchable. I am surprised no one died of a heart attack.

Any verse from Gita comes to your mind in relation to this?

The Goal for Messi was to win and lift the World cup. The Goal was same for Kylian Mbappe of France but he could not meet his Goal. That is how this world works -- One country is happy (Argentina) and the other is in tears (France).

Krishna gives the best goal in the Gita 12.9 - Himself.

The world just needs to change it's Goal -- then everyone can become happy.
